Our Kennels are located in the mountains of Eastern TN where we spend countless days of enjoyment hunting both Squirrel and Coon with our OMCBA registered Original Mountain Curs, I started off with Tuff-E-Nuff Roxie which will always be my favorite dog hands down, she was what I thought would be my only dog, but then after several hunting trips with a good friend, Harold Smith of Twin Pine Kennels, I decided that his dogs had the Breeding, Style, Drive, Brains and Tree Power that I was looking for to incorporate into my kennels.
I am proud to say that my breeding program will focus on and around HOF Twin Pines Jam bloodlines.
Due to the fact that I really enjoy spending quality time in the woods with my dogs and my gun you won’t see me at a lot of the competition hunts however I do still attend a few each year, the main reason for this is I refuse to get back to the heavy competitive nature that I once had with the Beagles where all I went for was to win, I could beat you with the Rules or my Dogs, just which ever one it took, I turned into the type of person that no one liked. (heck I didn’t even like myself at times), when I decided to sell all my Beagles I promised myself that I would never get in that condition again so now when you do see me at a hunt it is mainly for the fellowship, I will enter a dog every now and then and still greatly enjoy the Bench Shows, Treeing Contest and etc but that is about the extent of it for me.
I don’t raise a lot of pups and about the only time that I will breed a female is when I fill I need a pup for myself or friends, as we all know there is very little profit to be made in raising to sell and it serves no benefit to the breed so when I breed two dogs it is because I fill that I am improving the breed, so pups are limited around here but on occasion we will have one or two for sale.
